Here is week four of the Moody Master Bathroom Remodel.
Welcome to week four of the One Room Challenge (ORC) for Spring 2019!
ORC is a challenge for several designers and bloggers to makeover one room in six weeks. We are in week four so that means over halfway there. This week we were able to continue with the cosmetics of the remodel. The shower tile installation was completed. We also primed and painted the walls and ceiling. We added window trim, baseboards, lighting, and installed and plumbed the vanities.
Bring on the moody! We went with a very dark navy gray color called Midnight Blue from Behr paint. This was way out of my comfort zone for a farmhouse design style girl…but I am in love with it! The bathroom has four windows and several lights. Plus with all the elements being white, the white shower tile and the white window trim it broke up the dark color.
There were a total of four windows to trim out. I installed Window Trim in our Kitchen for around $10 using one inch boards. This time I used a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood. I was able to trim out all four windows and still have wood left over.
Here is the shower tile all finished! I love the niches! We changed out the old cream can lights and added new white LED can lights and installed lights above both vanities. The vanities and faucets were also installed and plumbed. The mirrors were also hung.
It is all coming together. Next week I will be working on getting accessories and decorations for bathroom.
