How is your Christmas season going so far? This is such a crazy time of year for everyone it seems; work parties, friends and family gathering, buying gifts and traveling. It seems every year I say that I will start doing XYZ earlier and I never do. This year I have definitely taken advantage of online buying verses going to the store and I have to say that I definitely prefer this type of “shopping”.
Anyhow…onto the post.
I love mason jars and Christmas. This cheap and easy project puts both of these together. The Snowy Mason Jar first made its appearance with my A Very Merry Christmas Display shown below.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS SNOWY MASON JAR
STEPS TO MAKE CHRISTMAS SNOWY MASON JAR
Step 1) Put some Modpodge on a sponge brush and apply it inside the mason jar. Apply the glue as far up the jar as you want the epsom salt (snow) to be. I applied mine about 2/3 to 3/4 of the jar.
Step 2) Pour epsom salt into the mason jar and move the jar around in different directions for the epsom salt to stick. Allow the glue to dry.
Step 3) Insert your favorite Christmas stems, decor, etc. And you are done.
See super easy!
Here are some close ups of the “snow.”
