Welcome!
Personalization is a fabulous way to add a special touch to gifts. I made these Personalized Wine Tumblers for a bridal shower and they were a hit.
For this post I will show you an easy way to personalize a picture frame by adding your own special word or message. I personalized this frame and gave this to my dad as a Christmas gift.
This is a great project to try if you are new to using a Silhouette.

TOOLS FOR PERSONALIZED PICTURE FRAME
SUPPLIES FOR PERSONALIZED PICTURE FRAME
- Vinyl – I used Oracle 631 in black
- Vinyl transfer paper – I used this one
- Personal photo
- Picture frame – Hobby Lobby

STEPS TO COMPLETE PERSONALIZED PICTURE FRAME
Steps 1) I created and cut a personal message using the Silhouette Cameo. Then I weeded the excess vinyl with the hook tool. You can also use a toothpick if you don’t have a hook tool.
Then I applied transfer paper to the stencil and applied the stencil to the bottom of the frame.
Super easy and my dad loved it!

I like how you added a personal message on the frame that you created for your father using a tool. My father is turning 65 this month, and I’m looking to give him a perfect gift. At the moment, I don’t have the luxury of time to create my own picture frame. With that being said, I will consider buying a handcrafted picture frame and add my personal message to it. Thanks for the ideas!
Hi Kiara,
Thanks so much for your comment. I bought my picture frame at Hobby Lobby. They had a great selection. Happy Birthday to your dad!
