Are you looking for a super easy project that will add some FARMHOUSE FLAIR to your kitchen? Then I have the perfect DIY for you!
I had this left over beer growler on hand so I decided to UPCYCLE it to a Farmhouse Milk Bottle that I plan to put above my kitchen cabinets.
I also created a FREE Dairy Printable saved as PNG file that can be used as a graphic transfer on a milk bottle or for whatever personal use you want to use it for.
SUPPLIES FOR FARMHOUSE MILK BOTTLE
- Glass bottle
- White flat spray paint
- Parchment paper
- Scissors
- Tape
- Retractable pen
- Spray sealer
STEPS FOR FARMHOUSE MILK BOTTLE
Step 1) Clean the outside of the bottle, dry it and then apply flat white spray paint and allow to dry. I applied 2-3 coats for good coverage.
Step 2) Create a printable/label for the graphic transfer. I made my own printable and personalized it with our last name, but I also created a FREE printable just for you so you don’t have to make your own.

*For personal use only – that means you can’t put it on a website or sell it.
To help you out here is a quick video on how to resize an image using Pic Monkey.
Step 3) Print out the printable on parchment paper. I created my own personal milk label that included our last name. To print on the parchment paper I cut out a piece of parchment paper big enough to print the graphic. Then tape the parchment paper to the printer paper and print the printable. Make sure to reverse the image BEFORE printing. Step 4) Without touching the ink on the parchment paper cut around the printable, center it on the bottle and tape it down. Then using the end of a retracted pen rub with a firm pressure go back and forth over the entire back side of the printable. Like magic this will transfer the image on to the bottle.
See super simple and now you have added some more farmhouse flair to your kitchen.

I plan to put this above my kitchen cabinets with some other decor, but this is the first project I have completed so far so I will post more pics once I have it all done.
