Framed Decorative Paper or Fabric
Decorate with framed scrapbook paper, wrapping paper, wallpaper or fabric. I love the rustic frames 2 Bees in a Pod uses to frame scrapbook art so perfect for spring.
Wrapping paper works just as well. Here 7th House on the Left shows you her pieces of “art.”
Don’t forget about the fabric. House by Hoff made these using frames from Goodwill.
Wreaths
Wreaths are a fantastic way to decorate not only at your front door, but bring the greenery in to add a spring feel to the inside of your home as well.
I love the look of natural wreaths. Like this one from Anderson and Grant.
Making it in the Mountains adds the perfect amount of pink to this natural wreath.
This Dollar Store wreath from The Happy Housie is perfect for Easter with the glitter eggs mixed with the greenery.
Throw Pillows
Adding colorful pillows is a wonderful way to add some spring to your space.
For neutral decor add some colorful pillows to spruce up your space like The Northern Magnolia does here.Pillow covers are a fabulous option for changing out colors with the change in seasons as well as ideal for saving space. DIY your own changeable pillow covers tutorial at Live Love DIY.
Rather BUY than DIY? Here are some affordable and fun pillow cover options for spring.
Printables
Printables make fabulous decor. They are easy to print, frame and hang. Do a Google or Pinterest search for Spring Printables to find some or see a few of my favorites below.
Spring Printables from Dream Design DIY
Or this beautiful printable from Yellow Bliss Road.
And another one from Clean & Scentsible.
Entryway Doormat
Add a fun doormat to your front door.
Customize your own mat by adding a fun saying for around $10 like from the But First Coffee Blog.
Or add a bright color to welcome your guests like Sugar Bee Crafts did here.Want to BUY instead of DIY? These welcome mats are a wonderful price around $13.00 and are available at Target.
Add Flowers to Your Spaces
Get creative with different ways to add flowers throughout your home to bring in the spring.
I adore these pink painted bottle vases from Kate’s Creative Space. The ombre effect she created is brilliant. Even better if you use acrylic paint you can wash the paint off and use a different color for another holiday or season.
I still can’t get enough of mason jars. Here is a beautiful spring project that Making it in the Mountains utilizes to add flowers in a creative way.
Even just the simplicity of a glass vase with some flowers or greenery creates a statement. A Cultivated Nest takes an empty apple juice jug to spring up her space. Galvanized is a fantastic look for spring. You can save several dollars by making your own faux galvanized vase. Gather some artificial flowers and you are in for spring. Dream Design DIY shows you how to do this using a cracker box.
I hope this helps you with several budget friendly ideas for bringing beautiful in your house for spring.
